wouldn’t it be great if we could teach future generations peace through non-violence?
Peace is great but isn’t the goal. In the big picture, survival against oppression is. When the potential is there, you HAVE TO build it before the other does. And like the atomic bomb, AI in weaponry has the potential to become unbelievably deadly, albeit in a more insidious, less toxic way. Still, massive armed swarms of flying drones that can zip through a jungle at night, assassin flies on the wall, water drones that can spread out and net nuclear subs all seem very viable in the next century and very dangerous in their misuse.
